Let’s face it; mediation for divorce is a situation that NO ONE wants to need. Unfortunately, it does happen. If there are children, then there is also the need for Parenting Plans – which often need mediation as well.
Divorce can be ugly, frustrating, time-consuming, and expensive.
Mediation can offer some relief.
Instead of going to court, paying expensive attorney fees, and being at the mercy of the Court’s schedule, I offer an alternative. Many issues can be resolved by mediation.
We will meet for one two-hour session and work together to raise concerns. The goal is to come to some type of agreement that will work for EVERYONE.
Once an agreement is made, I will write a report/agreement and provide it to the Court.
Definition of a Mediator
A mediator is considered a ‘go-between’ working to bring together disparate sides to forge an agreement between the two sides. It is very important to stress the fact that I am an independent provider – I do not work for any attorneys or the Court. Per Kansas statute, I am not allowed to testify in Court.
If you are in need of mediation or a parenting plan, please call or email.
